Jim Silman is now in "rehab" recovering from something called "servical myopathy."
It's a serious condition that affects one's ability to walk, among other things.
Jim says the prognosis is good and although he'll probably be restricted to walking with the help of a cane, further damage is not likely.
I don't believe Jim would want a lot of phone calls or visits at this point in time, but wants all his WTOP friends to know why they haven't seen him jogging along River Road recently.
