After over 41 years at channel 9, Jim Conner is retiring on Thursday,
June 30th. The station is planning an in-house party at 2 PM that day.
I don't know what exactly Dorea is planning, but there will be cake
I'm sure. The union is also planning an informal get together at The
Malt Shop (2nd floor above the Crab) that evening.
Please give me some idea of how many might attend so I can make
the necessary arrangements with Dorea. If any of the group would
like to come to the station early on Thursday afternoon, I'm sure we
could arrange a tour. We've got a gorgeous new set, and have made
the leap into HD
