On Sunday 8/17, Doris Fausey was presented an award from Dr. Geoff Patton for her many years of coordinating MAGIC participation in community events including the Rockville Science Fair, Girl Scout Expo and Takoma Park Festivals. The Maryland Alliance for Greenway Improvement and Conservation (MAGIC) is dedicated to preserving MD old-growth forests and protecting wildlife. Doris is a Director and former Grants Coordinator for MAGIC.
