Doris Fausey has arranged with the Cozy Inn in Thurmont, MD to host another WTOP-TV old timers luncheon on Wednesday October the 22nd. She's reserved that rather small room that we've used for the past several years but they assured her that we will be welcome to "overflow" into the adjoining room if necessary. I understand that last year we were slightly "packed in." It won't happen this year even if a lot of unexpected guests join us. Buddy and Doris both agree that the food choice is better than the large room we used to meet in, AND it's a lot BRIGHTER!
Let's have a big round of applause for Doris and Buddy for planning yet another historic meeting of the magnificent trail blazers of the early days of Washington broadcasting!
