We have lost another really old timer. Frank Lewis passed away on
Wedensday July 25th. He was 89 years old

Buddy Belote remembers Frank Lewis:
"I remember Frank Lewis as a fellow who loved nature, the great outdoors and camping out. Many times we met up with Frank at campsites all along Skyline Drive. Florence and I would arrive early at the campsite. We carefully put up the tent, spread out the sleeping bags, put up our clothesline and ditch the tent in anticipation of overnight rainfall. An hour or so later Frank would appear on the scene. He'd check out our set-up and pull his sleeping bag out of his car and folld it out on the ground. And that was all the prep he needed. Talk about being ready! "
Although we haven't seen him for a few years, I can still see him siting with us around out campfire and studying the night skies. Frank was truly his own man."
