As two of the original hosts of the program 15 or so years ago Chuck Langdon and I were asked to fill in for the recently deceased host and producer.
Don Richards was kind enough to join us. Don was one of the best guests the program has ever had, and certainly one who had more personal and up close experience with the subject than just about anyone I know.
Richards (center) joined WTOP-TV in 1952 and, among his many other achievements and honors was being President Eisenhour's favorite newscaster.
